Delicious Decadent Cheesecake Brownies

Ingredients
For Brownies: 200 g unsalted butter (melted) 2 1/4 cups granulated white sugar 4 large eggs 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract 1 1/4 cups cocoa powder 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp baking powder 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 2 cups chocolate chips For Cheesecake: 8 oz. softened cream cheese 1/3 cup sour cream 1/2 cup granulated white sugar 1/2 tsp vanilla 1 egg
Method
- Preheat the oven to 350º F and grease 9x13 inch pan.
- On the stove, or in the microwave, melt the butter and sugar in a pot, whisking occasionally. Allow to cool for 10 mins or so then add the eggs and vanilla until smooth. Then add the cocoa powder, salt, baking powder and flour. Mix until well combined. Then with a wooden spoon stir in the chocolate chips. Add the batter in the greased pan.
- In a separate bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, vanilla and the egg.
- With the end of a wooden spoon, make a 1 inch trench in the brownies batter and fill it with the cream cheese mixture (around 5 trenches along the long side).
- With a knife, cut the rows all the way through the batter the opposite direction of the trenches to swirl the brownies and cheesecake batters together.
- Bake it for about 30 mins for gooey brownies and 40-45 mins for less gooey-ness. Refrigerate until ready to serve or let them cool a bit after taking them from the oven and serve them.
