           Ingredients
Crust: 1 cup cake flour 3 tablespoons sugar 1/3 cup butter,room temp Filling: 1 1/4 cups sugar 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter, room temp 1 egg 1 Tbsp vanilla 1 cup all-purpose flour 2/3 cup milk 1/4 cup light corn syrup For serving: Strawberries, vanilla ice cream or whipping cream
Method
- Preheat oven to 175 c or 350 F .
- Mix all crust ingredients together and press in a pie dish.
- Beat sugar and butter till nice a fluffy.
- Add egg and vanilla and beat well.
- Add milk and flour alternatively then finish by adding corn syrup.
- Pour over crust and bake for 25-30 minutes till the sides are set but the inside is gooey and jiggles a bit.
- Let it cool off for an hour or two and serve warm with strawberries, whipping cream or ice cream.
